About Me

My Philosophy

From the beginning of time, women have been cared for and nurtured as they become mothers. Family, friends and neighbors from the community of women would rally around the new family to help guide them through LABOR, BIRTH & THE tender early weeks and months with a new baby.  The benefits of having a Doula is well documented and proven,  These include having a high satisfaction with your birth experience, improved self esteem and informed decision making during the birthing process. I will do this for you with an open, nurturing heart.

My Story

I have always been drawn to and fascinated by pregnancy and birth.  I have a calming and grounding presence in times of chaos and stress. I have a degree in Child Development and I teach yoga. All of my friends wanted my support when they gave birth. I went through an amazing prenatal yoga teacher training and decided to take a leap and leave the corporate world & become a Doula. I'm a "Jewla" if that's important to you. I have found that this is extremely rewarding, sacred work. Now I can comfort and support pregnant women and babies. Let me help you have the birth experience you want!
